The Southern Alberta hockey team put on a spectacular show at Stavely Arena on October 26, 2025. In a thrilling match against Diamond Valley, Southern Alberta emerged victorious with a final score of 13 to 5.
Southern Alberta dominated the game from the start, having a total of 78 shots against Diamond Valley’s 48. Their offensive prowess was evident as they managed to convert on 3 of their 7 powerplay opportunities. Diamond Valley, on the other hand, could only capitalize on 1 of their 9 powerplay chances.
Alberta’s goalie, Koy Sutherland, had an impressive performance, saving 43 out of 48 shots. In contrast, Diamond Valley’s Jacob Larsen struggled, saving only 32 out of 78 shots.
