The Southern Alberta hockey team faced a tough defeat against Calgary in a high-scoring game last night at Stavely Arena. The final score was 9-5 in favor of Calgary, marking a significant victory for the visiting team.

Calgary dominated the game with a total of 48 shots compared to Southern Alberta’s 35. The powerplay was also in Calgary’s favor with a 4/7 success rate, while Alberta couldn’t capitalize on any of their 10 opportunities.

In the net, Calgary’s goalie Ryan Rowley had a commendable performance with 30 saves from 35 shots. On the other hand, Alberta’s Koy Sutherland faced an onslaught of 48 shots, managing to save 39 of them.

Calgary’s #29 Gavin McKay had an exceptional night, assisting in 4 of the 9 goals scored by his team. On the Southern Alberta side, Quintin Rose, wearing #18, managed to score a hat trick, but his efforts were not enough to secure a win for his team.
